General Terms

These terms of sale apply exclusively. For different conditions (if requested) please contact us. All Agreements, which are made between us and the customer are to be laid down in writing.

Prices

All prices are indicated inclusive the legal value added tax (for Germany) if not indicated differently. Every quotations in our catalogs, on price lists or in the internet are without any guarantee. The delivery in foreighn countries will be invoiced without taxes.

Book dispatch

We dispatch books directly from our publishing house - within Germany usually by free shipping.
Within Europe we forward by special terms as listed (shipping & returns, see below), based on the single tariffs of the German post. Other countries as listed (shipping & returns, see below) or, if not mentioned below, on request via e-mail.
We dispatch in principle by check / money order, cash on delivery or credit card payment. The shipping fees on delivery will be invoiced completely to the customer.
Notice: Books on Demand products are exclusively made on order. With justified objection we carry out free replacement. The criticized copy is to be sent back by free shipping to us. According to law the customer is obligated to pay the cost of the send-back-fees within an amount of EUR 40,- of invoice. Unfree returns are not accepted. The costs resulting thereby go debited to the sender. Please contact us in case of any doubt.
We keep the property on the good until the complete payment of all demands as invoiced. We are entitled to take non-payed goods back.

Delivery times

We usually supply single items within 48 hours up to seven working-days. Larger order quantities are made ready for dispatch usually within five working-days. Quantity orders (starting from 10 Expl. for each title) between five and seven working-days (first orders of brand new publications within three weeks!).
Distribution on time cannot be ensured by us, cause we have no influence on the delivery times of the different delivery services. In case of doubt we supply after arrangement with the customer express delivery service. In this case the customer has to carry extra costs. According to schedule urgent supplies of items over 10 pc. the customer should contact us approx. three weeks before requested spedition-date.
Because the production process of an Book on demand product could be shared between several companies and free coworkers, we have only partially influence on the time-interval from placing the order to it`s distribution. By payment via check / money order we deliver only after having receipt of the complete amount as indexed on the invoice. The delivery time depends in this case directly on the transfer-credit note on our bank account.

Warranty

Guarantees complaints are to be addressed within three working-days after having receipt the order. By justified objection the publishing house Monsenstein and Vannerdat has a rework-right within appropriate period or the right to appropriate price reduction too. Further warranty engagements do not exist. In the case of multipart orders, objections do not entitle one of the parts to the further parts of the orders not affected by the lack.

Terms of payment

We accept Visa and Master- / Eurocard. The standard method of payment is check / money order or cash on delivery. During payment by cash on delivery fees about (at present) EUR 2.00, will be invoiced by the postal company (only valid for Germany. No cash on delivery in foreighn countries). This Fees goes debited to the receiver.

Jursidiction

Jurisdiction for all contracts is Münster in Westphalia / Germany. It applies the rights of the German Federal Republic.
